United States Agency for Global Media (USAGM) Senior Advisor Kari Lake has issued reduction-in-force notifications to government worker unions, a source familiar with the situation told The Gateway Pundit.

The American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) and the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) were both put on notice this week that mass firings are incoming.

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, Lake was sworn in as a White House senior advisor to the agency until she can be hired as VOA Director. In an email to USAGM staff upon being sworn in, she notified them that she would be “reforming and modernizing the agency into something the American people are willing to support.”

Lake was chosen by the President to lead the government’s international news network, Voice of America (VOA), after a new USAGM CEO is confirmed by the Senate, which could be a years-long process.

Placing Lake in the USAGM as a White House Advisor with exclusive powers over the entire agency appears to be a masterful way to overstep the appointment process, which is typically started by the USAGM CEO and agreed upon by the International Broadcasting Advisory Board. President Trump’s nominee for USAGM CEO, conservative writer Brent Bozell, is still awaiting Senate Confirmation, and a new bipartisan advisory board needs to be Senate-confirmed before Kari Lake can be approved as the Voice of America head.

The Deep State and far-left unions are probably wishing she were confined to VOA instead of overseeing the entire agency as she currently does.

As we previously predicted, the agency will effectively be “DOGE’d.” Under Lake’s leadership, we can be assured that far-left activism will be taken out of the newsroom, waste will be cut, President Trump’s executive orders will be followed, and taxpayer dollars will be put to good use.

And it’s already happening. Earlier this month, Lake went to work and announced that she was reducing millions in costs, exposing suspicious activity, and eliminating positions at the USAGM, The Gateway Pundit reported. She further issued a letter terminating the federal grant for Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL), which USAGM oversees.

Because of her efforts to do good with taxpayer money and following an executive order from the President aimed at reducing the operations of several agencies, including the USAGM, Radio Free Europe and Radio Liberty filed a lawsuit. In the lawsuit, they argued that the termination violated federal laws and the U.S. Constitution, which grants Congress exclusive authority over federal spending.

The Gateway Pundit reported this week that U.S. District Judge Royce C. Lamberth obstructed the President and Kari Lake’s efforts to DOGE the agency, saying that attempts to terminate employees of the globalist propaganda stations violated federal laws and the U.S. Constitution.

Lake and the Trump administration are also facing additional lawsuits, including one from six leftist VOA reporters backed by Reporters Without Borders and several labor unions, who are arguing First Amendment violations, in the far left Southern District of New York.

Border Czar Tom Homan told the Conservative Political Action Committee in February that he was, “bringing hell to Boston.”

Homan claimed several child rapists wanted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement were released in Massachusetts before ICE could arrest them.

After some investigating, CBS News confirmed that grim reality on Monday.

Fox News National Correspondent Bill Melugin summed up the findings of CBS in a post via social media platform X.

Two child rapists were released on $7,500 bail, while another instance involved two more child rapists both released on just $500 bail.

One Honduran released without bail was charged with assault, armed robbery, and rape.

According to CBS, Massachusetts laws prevents police from holding someone if they post bail, even if they are wanted by ICE.

Massachusetts Supreme Court ruled in Lunn v. Commonwealth, “Massachusetts law provides no authority for Massachusetts court officers to arrest and hold an individual solely on the basis of a Federal civil immigration detainer, beyond the time that the individual would otherwise be entitled to be released from State custody.”

The outrageously low bail for these people is another issue.

CBS asked criminal defense and immigration attorney Stephen Roth about the matter. According to Roth, bail is set to make sure someone appears in court, not to keep them in custody.

Massachusetts has a uniquely bad set of circumstances on its hands.

ICE is looking to capture child rapists, but all the local police can do is let them go if they post bail and in some cases that could cost nothing.

How would a victim feel knowing one of these men was back on the street with little to no effort?

Blue states aren’t making Homan’s job any easier, but he seems undeterred.

On Thursday, President Donald Trump praised Homan as he announced the border czar had captured a leader for the transnational crime gang MS13.

Homan has not minced words with Democrats over their efforts to maintain sanctuary cities as he won’t be kept from doing the job Trump chose him for.

Despite Trump’s second term being just two months old, Homan is shining in this role.

As the peace negotiations face the inevitable hurdles from both the Russian and the Ukrainian sides, it’s now the Europeans that are doing their level best to derail the process.

And it’s UK’s Prime Minister Keir Starmer and France’s President Emmanuel Macron who are the self-appointed ‘saboteurs-in-chief’ tasked with posturing and lecturing to the all-too-friendly MSM.

Now, Starmer and Macron started to patronize US President Donald J. Trump and his team, ‘warning’ them against ‘trusting Vladimir Putin’.

Besides that, they both made it clear they will not relax any sanctions on Russia as part of a ceasefire deal – effectively impeding it.

Politico reported:

“At a summit in Paris on Thursday ― the latest in a series held in London, Brussels and the French capital over recent weeks ― Ukraine’s allies further poured scorn on the idea that it was time to go soft. By doing so, they presented a direct challenge to the U.S., which has suggested that loosening the strict curbs on Russian companies’ ability to do business with the rest of the world could be used as a sweetener to get Moscow to stop the fighting.

“The collective view is that Russia is playing games, that Putin is back to his old playbook,” British Prime Minister Keir Starmer told reporters after the meeting. He said leaders want to ‘get Russia more seriously to the negotiation table’.”

Yes, you read it right: Starmer implies that the US-led negotiations are ‘not serious’.

The limited cease fire against energy infrastructure and suspension of attacks in the Black Sea are hinging on some of the sanctions against Russia being lifted – and Euro-Globalists can’t let that happen!

Some of the sanctions that need relief, like banks’ exclusion from the Swift international payment system ― were imposed by the EU.

“The 27 leaders gathered in Paris, including Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, outgoing German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, agreed they would not soften sanctions until peace was achieved, French President Emmanuel Macron told reporters.

[…] ’President Trump is waiting for a clear answer from the Russians’, Macron said. ‘If he has the clear message the Russians are not coming [to the table], he will feel deceived, betrayed. And he would have to react’.”

Again: condescending Macron thinks that if the EU torpedoes the deal, that will turn Trump against Putin – does that even make any sense?

In the end, Europe has no place at the negotiating table, but they can – and will – sabotage the deal. Meanwhile, Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelensky pretends to not trash US Special envoy Steve Witkoff:

“Zelenskyy singled out American envoy Steve Witkoff ― who dismissed Europe’s plan to send troops to Ukraine to keep the peace as ‘a combination of a posture and a pose’ ― as someone ‘from another world’. ‘It is not that I am attacking him. We just live in different realities’, Zelenskyy said.”

This afternoon, MI Speaker Pro Tempore Rachelle Smit and Chair of the MI House Election Integrity Committee sent a letter to the United States Attorney General Pam Bondi calling for an investigation into fraudulent voter registration efforts and electioneering by partisan voter registration groups who have accepted donations from 501(c)(3) organizations in violation of IRS regulations that prohibit them from engaging in partisan activities.

The letter was signed by Smit and 21 additional Michigan Representatives. Not a single Democrat lawmaker from Michigan signed the letter. Is it possible that the Democratic state representatives don’t care about protecting the sanctity and integrity of elections in Michigan? Would it be wrong to assume that Democrat lawmakers in Michigan especially don’t want GBI Strategies, an organization that was caught by the Michigan State Police, MI Secretary of State’s office and Michigan Attorney General’s office, delivering fake registrations to clerks across the state of Michigan, in person and by mail from a hotel in Auburn Hills, MI, to be investigated? Could they be concerned by the Michigan State Police investigation that began one month before the hotly contested 2020 election?

Perhaps they’re worried that if an investigation is opened into GBI Strategies, the DOJ may question why Senator Gary Peters, who recently and unexpectedly announced his retirement, and then-presidential candidate Joe Biden each paid $242,133 to GBI Strategies.

The address they list at the bottom of the ad is: 606 Townsend St. Lansing, MI., the SAME address as the Democratic Party headquarters in Lansing.

Are the identical addresses listed for Empower Michigan and the MI Democratic Party headquarters a coincidence? 

Is it also a coincidence that although there was a statewide investigation by the Michigan State Police, the Michigan Secretary of State’s office, and the Michigan Attorney General’s office, the Michigan clerks were never notified of the mass registration fraud investigation? Many Michigan clerks reported receiving packages filled with fake voter registrations from Empower Michigan (“EM”) sent to their offices on a private Facebook page to which the Gateway Pundit was given access.

Is there a reason why Democrat MI SOS Jocelyn Benson, who is now running for governor in 2026, and the Democrat MI Attorney General Dana Nessel kept this investigation hidden from the public?

They both had several months to inform the public of this major voter registration investigation before the FBI took over the investigation. Were they protecting the names of their fellow Democrats running for the two top spots on the 2020 general election ballot?

Were they trying to keep the police reports hidden from the public because they might not want Michigan residents to wonder why the Democrat-funded GBI Strategies needed to keep a cache of weapons and ammunition in their “registration” headquarters in Southfield?

According to a later unredacted MI State Police report that was obtained by Yehuda Miller, the weapons belonged to the alleged owner of GBI Strategies, Gary Bell.

Dear Attorney General Bondi:

Thank you for serving as our nation’s Chief Law Enforcement Officer and for your long history of public service. It is a great relief to know that someone of your background, history of success, and integrity is leading our nation’s Department of Justice.

I would like to bring to your attention and request that you investigate what appear to be serious and significant crimes that are adversely affecting our nation and corrupting its political systems.

In Michigan, we’ve been made aware of potential large-scale tax fraud involving several 501(c)(3) tax-exempt entities that are allegedly engaging in electioneering activities in Michigan, including partisan voter registration efforts. This request is based on comprehensive research conducted by Parker Thayer of the Capital Research Center, a reputable think tank based in Washington, D.C. Mr. Thayer recently testified before the Michigan House Committee on Election Integrity, of which I serve as chair.

The research highlights the activities of GBI Strategies, a partisan voter registration firm that operated during the 2020 election in Michigan. GBI Strategies was reportedly involved in submitting tens of thousands of suspicious voter registration forms, which led to investigations by local police and the FBI. These forms were characterized by discrepancies in signatures, dates of birth, and addresses that did not correspond with real voters. Despite these irregularities, GBI Strategies received millions of dollars from 501(c)(3) organizations – such as the Voter Registration Project – for voter registration work.

The Voter Registration Project, along with other significant 501(c)(3) entities like the Voter Participation Center and Everybody Votes, appear to be raising and spending funds for electioneering purposes, which is a violation of IRS regulations that prohibit 501(c)(3) organizations from engaging in partisan activities. The Voter Registration Project, for instance, paid GBI Strategies over $2.5 million for “Voter Registration Consulting” during the 2020 election despite being legally barred from partisan electioneering.

Furthermore, the Voter Participation Center has been involved in similar activities. The Center has been accused of using targeted filters to exclude potential Republican voters from its voter registration efforts, while the Voter Registration Project has been linked to multiple scandals involving illicit partisanship and fraudulent voter registrations.

Given the scale and seriousness of these allegations, I urge the Department of Justice to initiate a thorough investigation into these entities to determine the extent of their involvement in illegal electioneering activities and fraudulent voter registration efforts. Such an investigation is crucial to uphold the integrity of our electoral process as well as to ensure that tax-exempt organizations comply with federal laws.

Whatever the reason, MI Democrat representatives refused to sign this letter, one thing is clear—after five long years of watching absolutely nothing being done by lawmakers in Lansing to protect Michigan’s elections, Republican House Speaker Matt Hall has given the green light to Speaker pro tem Rachelle Smit and in so many ways, including multiple hearings, where she’s listened to election integrity experts provide evidence of voter fraud or manipulation of Michgan’s voter rolls, she has already proven that when it comes to elections in Michigan, she is serious about fixing a broken election system that’s integrity is on life support.

One Democrat lawmaker has gone so far in supporting abortion, she’s reducing the decision to murder babies to a cost-benefit analysis.

On Tuesday, Julie McCluskie, a Colorado Democrat and Speaker for the House in the Colorado legislature, spoke on a bill she is currently co-sponsoring to require “abortion care services” to be covered by Medicaid and Child Health Plan Plus program participants.

It would also require public employee insurance plans to cover abortions.

During her time to speak on the bill, McCluskie focused on how much money the state could save if women chose to have abortions rather than giving birth.

She reduced pregnancy and life to a price tag, concluding that those children should just die because it’s cheaper.

She described to her colleagues how the state government would benefit financially from the bill. “That savings comes from the averted births that will not occur, because abortions happened instead.

“A birth is more expensive than an abortion, so the savings comes in Medicaid births that will not occur,” she added.

McCluskie was trying her hardest to put the situation in the most sanitized and digestible language possible.

She was essentially saying that expectant mothers should kill their children rather than give birth, because it would be cheaper for the government.

“This bill will actually decrease costs for our Healthcare Policy and Financing Department, our Medicaid expenditures in both this year and out years, as the savings from averted births outweigh the cost of covering reproductive health care for all Coloradans,” she explained.

She acknowledged that the abortion “care” will cost the state $1.5 million,” but quickly added, “again, a reminder that ultimately, the state will see a cost savings.”

The video ended with McCluskie calling it “truly an honor” to be cosponsoring the bill.

Anyone who looks at children and childbirth in such cold, calculating terms has truly gone down an evil path.

The language McCluskie used was not just sanitized for political purposes, it was outright dehumanizing.

She made every effort to avoid the reality that she was talking about children dying so that the state can save money.

It doesn’t ever occur to deranged, abortion-worshipping leftists that this country needs more children being born.

Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security all need tax-paying, working Americans to support them.

How does the left expect government programs to thrive while they promote murdering large segments of people who can pay into them?

The footage was incredibly eerie and unnerving, as evil proceeded to calmly make its case.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio was asked on Thursday to explain why a Tufts student from Turkey had her visa revoked and is now slated for deportation.

His answer could not have been more perfect.

Rubio calmly explained to the assembled journalists that coming to the United States to study at a college or university is a privilege and not a right, and that if people come here to destroy, harass, and take over college buildings, they will be sent packing.

He uses the analogy of inviting someone into your home. If a guest began vandalizing and destroying your home, you would eject that person.

QUESTION: Mr. Secretary, a Turkish student in Boston was detained and handcuffed on the street by plainclothes agents. A year ago, she wrote an opinion piece about the Gaza war.

Could you help us understand what the specific action she took that led to her visa being revoked and what was your State Department’s role in that process?

SECRETARY OF STATE MARCO RUBIO: We revoked her visa. It’s an F1 visa, I believe. We revoked it, and here’s why, and I’ll say it again. I’ve said it everywhere. Let me be abundantly clear, OK?

If you go apply for a visa right now anywhere in the world, let me just send this message out. If you apply for a visa to enter the United States and be a student, and you tell us that the reason why you’re coming to the United States is not just because you want to write op-eds, but because you want to participate in movements that are involved in doing things like vandalizing universities, harassing students, taking over buildings, creating a ruckus, we’re not gonna give you a visa.

If you lie to us and get a visa and then enter the United States and with that visa participate in that sort of activity, we’re gonna take away your visa. And once you’ve lost your visa, you’re no longer legally in the United States, and we have a right, like every country in the world has a right, to remove you from our country. So it’s just that simple.

I think it’s crazy. I think it’s stupid for any country in the world to welcome people into their country — they’re going to go to your universities as visitors, they’re visitors, and say, “I’m going to your universities to start a riot. I’m going to your universities to take over a library and harass people.”

I don’t care what movement you’re involved in. Why would any country in the world allow people to come and disrupt?

We gave you a visa to come and study and get a degree, not to become a social activist that tears up our university campuses.

President Donald Trump signed an executive order to eliminate “the influence of a divisive, race-centered ideology” from Smithsonian Museums.

The order, signed on Thursday, also instructs Interior Secretary Doug Burgum to determine whether any “public monuments, memorials, statues, markers, or similar properties” were “removed or changed to perpetuate a false reconstruction of American history, inappropriately minimize the value of certain historical events or figures, or include any other improper partisan ideology” during the Biden administration.

The executive order states:

Once widely respected as a symbol of American excellence and a global icon of cultural achievement, the Smithsonian Institution has, in recent years, come under the influence of a divisive, race-centered ideology. This shift has promoted narratives that portray American and Western values as inherently harmful and oppressive. For example, the Smithsonian American Art Museum today features “The Shape of Power: Stories of Race and American Sculpture,” an exhibit representing that “[s]ocieties including the United States have used race to establish and maintain systems of power, privilege, and disenfranchisement.” The exhibit further claims that “sculpture has been a powerful tool in promoting scientific racism” and promotes the view that race is not a biological reality but a social construct, stating “Race is a human invention.”

The National Museum of African American History and Culture has proclaimed that “hard work,” “individualism,” and “the nuclear family” are aspects of “White culture.” The forthcoming Smithsonian American Women’s History Museum plans on celebrating the exploits of male athletes participating in women’s sports. These are just a few examples.

It is the policy of my Administration to restore Federal sites dedicated to history, including parks and museums, to solemn and uplifting public monuments that remind Americans of our extraordinary heritage, consistent progress toward becoming a more perfect Union, and unmatched record of advancing liberty, prosperity, and human flourishing. Museums in our Nation’s capital should be places where individuals go to learn — not to be subjected to ideological indoctrination or divisive narratives that distort our shared history.

To advance this policy, we will restore the Smithsonian Institution to its rightful place as a symbol of inspiration and American greatness –- igniting the imagination of young minds, honoring the richness of American history and innovation, and instilling pride in the hearts of all Americans.

Earlier this week, two strong election integrity voices from Michigan, Ramon Jackson and Pastor Lorenzo Sewell, came in and testified before Rep. Rachelle Smit’s Election Integrity Committee, as part of Smit’s effort to document evidence of voter fraud in Michigan’s past election cycles.

Yesterday TGP’s Patty McMurray covered the hearing in detail, showing how the two activists spent months documenting Detroit voter fraud and figuring out exactly how Democrats are committing the fraud. And again today TGP’s Patty McMurray went into more detail covering the way in which this systemic voter fraud happened.

The Democrat voter fraud scheme is to use an identified transient population, people who often move and change addresses, using those people for absentee ballots. The Detroit activists have documented people who voted in-person on days they were out-of-state, and people who are said to have voted from addresses that they have long ago left. They also documented ballots cast in the name of people who were living in other states, and voting in other states, without a Michigan driver’s license.

Democrats are now responding with name-calling and by employing their media allies to use racist tropes to dismiss these activists.

Democrats have responded and their only argument is to use epithets and racially-coded-language that these courageous men are “election deniers” and seeking to reimpose a racist ‘poll tax’ to deny blacks the right to vote.

White Democrats are telling Black leaders that they are racist for wanting to protect their right to vote, and the right for their votes to count.

You can hear the sneering elite condescension in their left-wing voices as they talk down to the Detroit activists seeking to protect their integrity, identity, and political choices.

“The election deniers in today’s committee hearing are yet another sign that Michigan Republicans are untethered from fact and reality when it comes to our elections,” said Chair of the Michigan Democratic Party Curtis Hertel said in a press release. “Along with the poll tax bills that jeopardize thousands of voters’ access to the ballot box, Michigan Republicans are making it clear that safe and secure elections are not their goal.”

What they found was that a certain type of resident was having their votes and identities stolen. Likely through the ERIC system, a segment of the population that are largely transient and who often move, were having their votes taken. This population does not live in one spot, but it is very difficult to prove where they lived at a specific time

Democrats are trying to pressure Rep. Rachelle Smit to drop this line of investigation, because they claim, it’s not what they ran for office on. Rep. Stephen Wooden (D-Grand Rapids) further complained that claims of voter fraud in the 2020 election were already five years old and so it was of little interest or consequence.

Democrat detractors pointed out in the MIRS News service, a special high-priced blog catering to Michigan’s lobbyists, using a variety of scare quotes and demeaning language to marginalize and silence these Black voices speaking the truth: that the 2020 election was riddled with systemic voter fraud.

Statehouse news reporting often launders Democrat priorities through this process: where glorified blogs like MIRS News put a far-left spin on inconvenient facts for Democrats. Then local outlets and state bloggers, in Michigan’s case an example here would be the Detroit News’ discredited and disgraced Craig Mauger, to then report on MIRS’ original reporting. Then national outlets like the Associated Press, the New York Times, and the Washington Post, simply regurgitate the narrative framing and dismissive tones of the original work.

Head of the Michigan Democrats Curtis Hertel, and his allies at MIRS News, work together to use racist tropes in order to dismiss the claims of these impassioned Detroit activists.

Here is a summary of MIRS’ coverage and the way it is meant to undermine and dismiss these voter fraud witnesses:

• Stereotyping of these Black religious leaders as grifters or hucksters.

• Mockery of Black vernacular or preaching styles.

• Undermining legitimacy through dishonest framing (linking them to President Trump, highlighting the lawsuit dismissal, noting the request for donations).

• Gatekeeping via establishment voices questioning the right of these individuals to speak or be taken seriously.

These are the tactics that the Democrats and the media are going to use to suppress these courageous Detroit whistleblowers who are documenting the systemic voter fraud in 2020 that shifted Michigan from a Trump win to a Trump loss utilizing absentee ballot fraud, among other tactics, to deliver the election to Joe Biden and his allies.

The drama surrounding President Donald Trump’s top defense team this week is getting a backstage twist.

Minnesota Democrat Ilhan Omar, one of the most polarizing members of the polarizing group known as the “squad,” is shopping plans behind the scenes to launch impeachment efforts as a result of the controversy that’s become known as “Signalgate,” according to the Beltway-centric news outlets Axios.

Omar’s targets are some of the biggest names in Trump’s administration, but the online backlash might not be quite what she was expecting.

According to the Axios report Thursday, which cited unnamed sources, Omar is trying to convince fellow Democrats behind the scenes to move forward with impeaching Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, National Security Advisor Michael Waltz, and CIA Director John Ratcliffe.

All three were part of a chat group on the encrypted messaging app Signal that discussed a March 15 strike by the United States military on the Houthi terrorist group in Yemen. Also in that group, included accidentally, was Jeffrey Goldberg, the editor-in-chief of the liberal magazine The Atlantic. Goldberg is a journalist with a history of attacking Trump.

(He was the man who publicized the claim that Trump had insulted American Marines who gave their lives during World War I.)

When Goldberg published a report about the Yemen conversation in The Atlantic on Monday, he unleashed the young Trump administration’s most serious controversy to date. It’s a controversy that has stirred Omar to start talking impeachment, according to Axios.

“The high-profile progressive has been pushing the idea of impeachment among fellow House Democrats, a senior House Democrat and another source familiar with the matter told Axios,” the outlet reported.

Considering that any impeachment effort against the Trump administration is virtually certain to fail in the current Congress, where Republicans hold a majority in both the House and the Senate, the motivation for Omar to act isn’t the likelihood of success.

Instead, it’s more likely a public relations exercise — political theater to paint Trump as a villain and show his supporting cast in the worst possible light.

But with reactions on the social media platform X showing an overwhelming majority of commenters blasting Omar, an impeachment stunt is likely to only backfire for Democrats as a whole.

A quick survey of X found only a single post supporting Omar. That post — from a leftist social media activist — was quickly inundated with responses attacking her or defending the Trump officials.

Outside of that post, the rest were ridiculing Omar, a native of Somalia and one of only two Muslim women to serve in Congress. (The other is fellow “squad” member Rashida Tlaib, a Michigan Democrat.)

Omar’s latest stunt proves she’s more focused on tearing down America than actually serving it. Instead of impeachment, how about we start with expelling her from Congress and sending her packing? That’d be a win for the country.

(To be fair, the story got a much friendlier reception from posts on Bluesky. But a liberal silo of a social media platform created specifically to be of, by and for the lefties is not exactly a reflection of America writ large.)

Omar has a history of being melodramatically partisan. It’s possible that Democrats as a whole better understand the realities of majority rule in Congress better than the Minnesota rep and her far-left “squad” members.

In its report, Axios cited a Democratic leadership source who called it an “unlikely scenario” that the party would attempt impeachment proceedings while in the minority in the House.

If that’s the case, the 2026 midterms are still 18 months away, but getting more important by the day.
