In a head-scratching move, FBI Director Kash Patel has reportedly appointed Steven Jensen to lead the coveted FBI Washington Field Office.  According to the New York Times, Jensen “played a key role in responding to the attack on the Capitol” on January 6th.

Jensen was then tasked as the Section Chief of the Domestic Terrorism Operations Section, according to former FBI Agent Kyle Seraphin.  Seraphin, a whistleblower and member of a group of persecuted federal agent whistleblowers known as “The Suspendables,” said that the Domestic Terrorism group was “fixated” on Jan. 6.  Jensen conducted two daily calls with law enforcement across the country regarding the protest, where he “breathlessly exclaimed the country was under attack by J6ers,” according to a former FBI National Security Intelligence Supervisor.

The New York Times writes:

Mr. Jensen was also responsible for establishing a system to monitor incidents of violence at school board meetings across the country as potential acts of domestic terrorism — one of the most serious complaints that Mr. Patel himself had about the F.B.I. under the Biden administration.

The decision from Director Patel is odd considering his criticism of the treatment of many Jan. 6 protesters.  Meanwhile, many aspects of that day still remain unaddressed by the Bureau, including the Jan. 6 pipe bomber’s identity, which was a frequent topic on now-Assistant Director Dan Bongino’s Rumble podcast, and the number of FBI Agents or assets that were in the crowd that day, also something AD Bongino has alluded to previously on his podcast.

Prior to being pegged to lead the D.C. Field Office, in 2020-2021 Jensen served a stint in the Domestic Terrorism Operations Section at FBI Headquarters in D.C.  Before that, he was the Assistant Special Agent in Charge at the Jackson, Mississippi Field Office from 2017-2020.  And from 2014-2017, he led the Rockford Resident Agency in Chicago.

Jensen was also a firearms instructor at Quantico from 2012-2014 following six years as a Special Agent in the New York Field Office, where he investigated health care fraud, domestic terrorism, and Asian organized crime.  He was also a member of the SWAT team and a firearms and defensive tactics instructor, according to FBI.gov.

Hardworking Americans face rising prices and a weaponized federal government, yet more than 1,500 federal programs are still receiving billions in taxpayer dollars despite their legal authorizations expiring years or even decades ago.

A federal program is separately authorized and funded by Congress. If a program is not authorized, or authorized at a specific level, it is not supposed to receive funding. But because of Congressional inaction, apathy, and inattention, these programs regularly receive such funding even though they lack legal authorization.

491 specifically-identified unauthorized programs and federal spending accounts for roughly 8% of the annual federal budget of $6.45 trillion, or $516 billion dollars. The DOGE effort to cut government fraud, waste, and abuse has so far saved taxpayers $140 billion by comparison.

The Congressional Budget Office couldn’t find or estimate the dollar amounts spent by the other 1,000 zombie programs they identified.

According to a recent investigation by RealClearInvestigations, the United States government is quietly funding what experts are calling “zombie programs” — agencies and initiatives that legally expired but are kept alive through backdoor budget tricks and annual appropriations.

In 2016, candidate Trump even mentioned this concept of refusing to pay for unauthorized programs as a way to get more funding to the military. The media ‘fact checked’ Trump’s claim as ‘false’ even though it was true, because, they said, Congress doesn’t have to follow the law.

One of the most egregious examples? The Legal Services Corporation (LSC), a taxpayer-funded outfit originally established to provide free legal assistance to low-income Americans. Congress let its authorization expire in 1980, yet the agency is still alive and well in 2025 — operating with 135 employees and a $560 million budget.

Republicans in 2011 tried to make modest cuts to the LSC, and the left-wing mainstream media said it would cause major social problems. Leftist media said it was going to “gut a crucial anti-poverty lifeline.” Left-wing non-profits rallied to protect this subsidy and corporate welfare to the nation’s attorneys.

The LSC has long been accused of funding politically motivated litigation, supporting left-leaning advocacy groups, and diverting taxpayer money into causes far beyond its original mandate. In past decades, LSC grantees have been caught assisting in lawsuits to block welfare reform, challenging voter ID laws, and filing environmental and immigration-related lawsuits aimed at advancing progressive policy goals rather than defending the poor in court. Some grantees have used federal funds to lobby state legislatures, coordinate with activist networks, and even sue landlords and small businesses en masse under dubious legal theories.

45 years after it was supposed to be shut down, the LSC is still spending hundreds of millions with zero legislative oversight.

This problem has been plaguing Congress for years, and many white papers and organizations have attempted to bring this problem to the legislature’s attention for many years.

Here are a few of the worst offenders:

According to the Congressional Budget Office, 491 of these programs account for $516 billion in federal spending — nearly 8% of the entire U.S. budget — despite having no active authorization from Congress.

Even left-leaning policy analysts admit there’s a problem — though they try to spin it. Sarah Binder of the Brookings Institution told RealClear: “If Congress is still appropriating money to the programs, they’re not Zombies. They’re living, breathing agencies.”

Translation: Congress keeps funding the swamp, and no one stops them.

As we approach Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ May 5th trial, federal prosecutors have piled yet another superseding indictment against the mogul rapper – the third one.

The court filing added two charges to Diddy’s indictment, and it is now expected that four accusers will testify against him.

It is now alleged that he engaged in sex trafficking with multiple women and ‘as recently as last year’.

Associated Press reported:

“A superseding indictment accuses Combs of using force, fraud, or coercion to compel a woman to engage in commercial sex acts from at least 2021 to 2024.

The indictment, returned by a federal grand jury in Manhattan, also alleges Combs was involved in transporting the woman — identified only as ‘Victim-2’ — and other people, including commercial sex workers, to engage in prostitution during the same time frame.”

The new charges add to racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking counts filed against Diddy on his arrest back in September.

The total number of charges against him has now risen from three to five.

“In a court filing, federal prosecutors said the racketeering conspiracy charge involves allegations that Combs sex trafficked three victims and forced a fourth, one of his employees, into sexual activity with him.”

The rapper remains imprisoned at MDC jail in Brooklyn.

“In the first [superseding indictment], in January, federal prosecutors disclosed that their case involved at least three women whom they said Combs forced to engage in commercial sex acts. They also alleged Combs showed a firearm to a female victim during a kidnapping and once dangled a woman over an apartment balcony.”

A second superseding indictment in March contained minimal changes.

“Combs denies committing any crimes and has pleaded not guilty to the first set of charges, which allege that he coerced and abused women for years with help from a network of associates and employees while silencing victims through blackmail and violence, including kidnapping, arson and physical beatings.

[…] Central to the case is a March 2016 video showing Combs hitting and kicking his then-girlfriend, R&B singer Cassie, in a Los Angeles hotel hallway. Prosecutors contend the assault happened during a “Freak Off.” Combs lawyers argue the footage was nothing more than a “glimpse into a complex but decade-long consensual relationship” between the two.”

US District Judge of the District Court for the District of Rhode Island, John McConnell, an Obama appointee, accused President Trump of violating his court order blocking his federal funding freeze.

In January Judge McConnell temporarily blocked Trump’s freeze on federal funding in response to a request from 22 Democrat state attorneys general and DC.

Trump’s Office of Management and Budget (OMB) previously put a temporary pause of agency grant, loan and other financial assistance programs.

“The American people elected Donald J. Trump to be President of the United States and gave him a mandate to increase the impact of every federal taxpayer dollar. In Fiscal Year 2024,of the nearly $10 trillion that the Federal Government spent, more than $3 trillion was Federal financial assistance, such as grants and loans,” the OMB said.

“This memorandum requires Federal agencies to identify and review all Federal financial assistance programs and supporting activities consistent with the President’s policies and requirements,” the OMB memo said.

Last month the Democrat state attorneys general went back to court and told the judge that FEMA was withholding funds in violation of his previous injunction.

The Trump Justice Department insisted FEMA was in compliance with the judge previous order.

However, on Friday, Judge McConnell sided with the attorneys general and ordered FEMA to disburse millions of dollars in grants to the 22 Democrat states. The judge also accused the Trump Administration of violating his order.

“FEMA’s manual review process violates the Court’s preliminary injunction order,” Judge McConnell wrote.

It is important to note that Judge McConnell is conflicted because he received over $100 million in government funding for his NGO.

Judge McConnell’s organization has received $117.6 million in government funding in total (ending in 2023).

Maybe that’s why he wanted the money to keep flowing. He’s expecting several more million this year!

Topline: Back in 2010, local officials in the City of Lynn, Massachusetts bragged to The Daily Item about an “inexpensive” way to beautify their own city: use federal grants to send the cost to taxpayers in other cities.

The city spent $2.8 million renovating a goldfish pond, a Mexican restaurant and more, using multiple grants and no-bid contracts.

That’s according to the “Wastebook” reporting published by the late U.S. Senator Dr. Tom Coburn. For years, these reports shined a white-hot spotlight on federal frauds and taxpayer abuses.

Coburn, the legendary U.S. Senator from Oklahoma, earned the nickname “Dr. No” by stopping thousands of pork-barrel projects using the Senate rules. Projects that he couldn’t stop, Coburn included in his oversight reports.

Coburn’s Wastebook 2010 included 100 examples of outrageous spending worth more than $11.5 billion, including the City of Lynn’s spending spree — which would be worth $4.2 million today.

Key facts: Lynn’s funding came out of Community Development Block Grants from the Department of Housing and Urban Development.

The city had already renovated its heart-shaped goldfish pond in 2005, but apparently residents were still unhappy with the stone walls on the island in the pond’s center. Lynn officials solicited bids for renovations and hired a nonprofit instead of private companies that offered a cheaper price.

Businesses in downtown Lynn, just north of Boston, were reimbursed up to $4,000 each to redecorate their storefronts. A vacuum cleaner store, a video rental store and more took advantage.

One local official explained: “It‘s an inexpensive way to fix up a storefront, especially for the business owner.” It was yet another example of a city treating federal grants like free money.

Other projects included a new gazebo, a water play area and a boat dock.

Today, Lynn is using its own taxpayers’ money to pay out generous local salaries. Twenty-six public employees earned more than $200,000 in 2023, according to payroll records obtained by OpenTheBooks.com.

What was hailed by Democrats as a narrow 734-vote victory for Allison Riggs in the 2024 North Carolina Supreme Court race is now spiraling into electoral chaos, as a court ruling has cast doubt over tens of thousands of ballots that could flip the outcome in favor of conservative challenger Judge Jefferson Griffin.

In a stunning decision filed Thursday, the North Carolina Court of Appeals ruled that approximately 65,000 ballots—cast by voters with incomplete registration information, missing photo identification, or submitted by individuals who have never lived in North Carolina—may be invalid under state and federal election law.

The 2-1 decision was authored by Judges John Tyson and Fred Gore, both registered Republicans. Judge Tobias Hampson, a Democrat, dissented from the majority opinion.

The court ordered election officials across the state’s 100 counties to notify affected voters, giving them 15 business days to prove they are legally eligible to vote, or their ballots could be tossed out, handing conservatives a chance to reclaim a critical seat on the state’s highest court.

Democrat Allison Riggs was declared the winner in November by just 734 votes—garnering 2,770,412 votes (50.01%) to Griffin’s 2,769,678 (49.99%).

The race went to a recount since the vote difference was fewer than 10,000 votes. Republican Griffin was leading the race until Democrat Riggs overcame her opponent weeks after the election.

But Griffin immediately filed protests, arguing that unlawful ballots had tainted the outcome.

Judge Griffin argued that thousands of votes were cast by individuals who never completed their registration by providing a valid driver’s license or the last four digits of their Social Security number, as required under state law since 2004.

Others allegedly failed to include a copy of their photo ID—another legal requirement—and some were cast by “Never Residents,” overseas voters who have never lived in North Carolina but claimed eligibility through a parent.

In its 37-page opinion, the court blasted the North Carolina State Board of Elections for failing to uphold election laws. In fact, the Board itself had used QR codes and mass mailings to communicate with voters—then rejected Griffin’s use of similar methods to notify challenged voters.

The court ruled that the Board’s internal procedures could not override state law, which clearly requires all voters to provide proper registration information and comply with photo ID laws. It also stated that the Board had no authority to “exempt” military and overseas voters from these legal requirements.

In a direct rebuke to the Board’s handling, the court wrote, “To condemn a non-statutory and voluntary method of notice and means to seek additional information, which the Board has repeatedly used, is essentially throwing stones while sitting inside a glass house.”

The State Board of Elections must now notify the 65,000 affected voters, giving them 15 business days to verify their eligibility. If they fail to do so, their ballots will be removed from the final count.

Another Bogus Democrat Scandal Comes Crashing Down!

On Thursday, Judge Boasberg held a hearing in the frivolous lawsuit filed against Trump Administration officials for their use of the double-encrypted app Signal.

As previously reported, the left-wing watchdog group American Oversight filed a lawsuit against John Ratcliffe, Pete Hegseth, Tulsi Gabbard, and others, claiming their use of the Signal app violates the Presidential Records Act.

American Oversight boasts about its ‘activist litigation’ targeting Republican interests, especially the Trump Administration.

Now they’re suing Trump officials for using Signal to communicate about ‘military actions.’

According to Jeffrey Goldberg, National Security Adviser Mike Waltz, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Vice President JD Vance were in a Signal group called “Houthi PC small group,” discussing plans in Yemen.

Of course, the fake news legacy media is loving this latest anti-Trump non-scandal.  And, once again, like Judge Boasberg, they are not being honest with the American public.

First of all, Joe Biden’s Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Avril Haines used Signal “all the time and on her personal phone” according to multiple career intelligence staff.

London’s Metro Police charged outspoken Trump supporter, comedian and actor Russell Brand with rape, sexual assault and indecent assault.

The alleged assaults from four different women go back to 1999.

“The charges were issued against the comedian on Friday, according to a press release from police. The charges include one count of rape, one count of indecent assault, one count of oral rape and two counts of sexual assault,” Fox News reported.

Russell Brand has denied the allegations and said the interactions were all “consensual.”

Russell Brand has been charged with rape, indecent assault and sexual assault by London’s Metropolitan Police.

The police have said in the past few minutes that the comedian and TV host will be charged with one count of rape, one count of indecent assault, one count of oral rape and two counts of sexual assault after detectives started investigating 18 months back.

The investigation was sparked by allegations reported by Channel 4 and The Sunday Times. The charges relate to four separate women. It has been alleged that Brand raped a woman in Bournemouth in 1999, indecently assaulted a woman in 2001 in Westminster, London, orally raped and sexually assaulted a woman in Westminster in 2004, and between 2004 and 2005 sexually assaulted a woman, also in Westminster.

Russell Brand, a native of England, used his podcast to encourage people to vote for Donald Trump. He also spoke out against endless wars and online censorship.

“In a straight choice between Donald Trump and Joe Biden, if you care about democracy, if you care about freedom, I don’t know how you could do anything other than vote for Donald Trump for precisely the reasons that they claim that you can’t,” Russell Brand said on his podcast in 2024, according to The New York Post.

“They act as if a vote for Donald Trump is almost like you’re directly voting for Armageddon, like you see hysterical performances outside of courtrooms, endless MSNBC bombast,” Brand continued.” But I’m starting to think that no, a greater threat to democracy is this kind of technological feudalism, that tells you that it cares about you and that it’s protecting vulnerable people, all the while increasing censorship, increasing the funding of wars, increasing the division between ordinary Americans.”

President Trump is shaking up the global trade system again. This time, with tariffs designed to bring critical industries like pharmaceuticals back to the United States.
