Once every four years, liberals across the country threaten their fellow citizens with a devastating loss if their presidential candidate fails to secure the White House — that loss being themselves.

And one man is setting the example for all those who have posed these threats by following through on his.

“It’s a very sad day, it’s a sad week really, and you know, my fellow Americans, I’m here to tell you why. And the reason why is there’s a man, a very intelligent, well-lettered man, by his own admission, named Jason Stanley,” Matthew Peterson of “Blaze News Tonight” explains, adding, “And he’s decided to leave this country.”

Stanley first made it onto Peterson’s radar in 2021, when he posted on X his lengthy list of credentials before claiming that people who don’t share his level of expertise have no right to discuss “wokeness and academia.”

While Stanley mainly uses X to talk about himself and his credentials, he also uses it to attack people like Peterson himself.

In his own post on X, Peterson quote-tweeted Tim Carney’s post that said, “We need to teach natural law in the public school.”

Peterson wrote, “It’s not enough to ban CRT. We must replace it with natural law.”

Stanley screenshotted the exchange and wrote his own post that simply said, “White Christian Nationalism.”

“He actually called teaching natural law ‘White Christian Nationalism,’” Peterson says. “A bunch of people came in and pillared him, and then this happened many times. The beautiful thing about afterwards, when myself and others just gave it to him, is that he did the right thing and he left.”

“The sad thing is, he has actually decided to not just leave Twitter like he has in the past, he’s now going to leave the country,” Peterson adds.

Stanley claims “the decision was entirely because of the political climate in the United States.”

“I’m happy he’s leaving,” Peterson says. “He has the courage of his convictions, he should take more with him, but also, we’re all going to miss you.”

Former NFL star Richard Sherman said that his home was broken into by armed robbers while his wife and children were inside over the weekend.

The former cornerback posted about the incident on the X platform and added screenshots from surveillance cameras showing three armed robbers inside his home. One video shows them breaking in through a broken window.

‘Scary situation that my Wife handled masterfully and kept my kids safe.’

“House being robbed at gunpoint with my family in it isn’t what anyone wants for a birthday gift,” read the tweet from Sherman. “Scary situation that my Wife handled masterfully and kept my kids safe. If anyone has any info that can help find these people please reach out.”

Sherman turned 37 years old on Sunday, one day after the incident.

He added several details in responses on the platform, including that the robbers went through a neighbor’s fence to go through his back yard.

The King County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to KOMO-TV that officers were called to a residence at about 11:45 p.m. Saturday for a residential burglary.

Sherman said police told him that the burglars had hit five other homes in the area.

Sherman’s wife, Ashley Moss, was slightly more emotional about the incident in posts to her Instagram account.

“People are so sh**ty! Come in my house middle of the night with guns and threaten my family!!!” Moss wrote. “Let me tell you .. you messed with [the] wrong one!!!”

Several sports figures have been targeted by international crime rings. Several Chilean nationals were arrested for allegedly robbing the home of Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow.

“Waking up to intruders outside your bedroom with a gun is something no one should have to experience,” Moss added. “Like I said they tried the wrong people! We WILL find you!

Shortly following his historic election victory last November, President Trump nominated loyal ally Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) to be U.S. ambassador to the United Nations. Of all his nominations, Stefanik faced the least opposition in her Senate confirmation hearing — even walking away with some Democrat support.

Last week, however, Trump pulled her nomination, citing fear that Stefanik’s House seat would be replaced by a Democrat in a special election. Granted the GOP holds a razor-thin House majority (218-213) after January 2025 vacancies, losing her vote could very well jeopardize his legislative agenda.

“Is this the right move from the Trump administration?” Jill Savage, host of “Blaze News Tonight,” asks Blaze Media senior politics editor and Washington correspondent Christopher Bedford.

Bedford’s answer is a resounding yes.

Ambassador for the United Nations is “kind of a pointless job,” he says. “The whole point of the United Nations in New York is just so we can get foreign diplomats and leaders liquored up, hookered up, and on tape and video, and then go back to them later and say, ‘Hey, we need a favor because we saw you with six prostitutes in your hotel room and a pile of coke, and your wife wouldn’t want to see that.’”

Even still, he feels bad for Stefanik. The position is certainly “a stepping stone” and “a cool thing on your resume.”

However, what’s far more important is the GOP’s House majority, and where the numbers currently stand, Trump can’t afford to lose Stefanik’s vote — especially with wild cards like Reps. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) and Chip Roy (R-Texas) in the House.

“It just comes down to the reality of giving the Republicans more breathing room particularly for this upcoming budget battle, which is expected in the next few weeks,” says Bedford.

“So who gets [the position] now?” asks Blaze News editor in chief Matthew Peterson.

“Maybe Ron DeSantis — you know someone who is not necessarily a Trump ally, but it’d be good to get them on the team but at the same time kind of sideline them a little bit,” says Bedford.

Hope Walz called herself a “privileged white woman” and said she was refusing to attend a graduate school that had accepted her application.

The daughter of the failed vice presidential candidate posted a video on social media explaining that she was angered by universities shutting down dissent from student protests.

‘Given recent events I am not going to give my money, go into debt for, support institutions that don’t support their students and the right to protest.’

“I got into grad school. I will not be attending starting this fall though, and I will no longer be attending the university that I originally applied for,” she said on the video posted to TikTok.

“I applied for one school. I kind of had my heart set on it. That’s what I wanted to do,” Walz explained. “I’m not going to name the institution, but given recent events, I am not going to give my money, go into debt for, support institutions that don’t support their students and the right to protest and speak out for their communities.”

The 24-year-old graduated from Montana State University in Bozeman in 2023 and was employed as a social worker at a homeless shelter as well as a ski instructor, according to her father.

“Students deserve to be protected,” she continued. “I’m not worried about if I were to be protected or not at said institution, I’m [a] privileged white woman, but I’m not going to put myself in a position where I’m giving money or supporting institutions that don’t support their students.”

Walz said she might skip a year and find a suitable graduate school to attend next fall.

Video of her comments was posted to social media, where she was widely ridiculed by some critics.

Student protests have erupted at many campuses in the U.S. among anti-Israel activists opposed to the military action in the Gaza Strip after Hamas terrorists slaughtered people in southern Israel. Some of the protests have included vandalism and violence.

The Trump administration has used immigration enforcement and the threat of federal fund rescission to force colleges and universities to take a harder line against student protests.

A Delta Air Lines plane nearly collided with an Air Force jet on Friday near Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. The near-collision happened just months after the deadly aircraft crash between an Army helicopter and a passenger plane in Washington, D.C.

Delta Flight 2983 departed from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport around 3:15 p.m. on Friday, bound for Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The system issued a ‘resolution advisory,’ directing the pilots to take evasive action.

At the same time that the Delta Airbus A319 had taken off from Reagan International, four U.S. Air Force T-38s approached from the opposite direction.

The U.S. Air Force T-38s turned north on the east side of the Potomac River as the jets flew directly over the Pentagon and Arlington National Cemetery for a flyover of a funeral, according to FlightRadar24.com.

USA Today reported that the Airbus A319 received a cockpit warning known as a Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance System. The system issued a “resolution advisory,” directing the pilots to take evasive action.

The Federal Aviation Administration stated in a press release: “The Delta aircraft received an onboard alert that another aircraft was nearby. Air traffic controllers issued corrective instructions to both aircraft.”

Shortly after the near miss, one of the Delta pilots asked Reagan air traffic controllers, “Was there an actual aircraft about 500 feet below us as we came off DCA?”

The departure controller responded, “Delta 2983, affirmative.”

CNN reported that the Air Force T-38 jets were flying past the Delta plane and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport while traveling more than 350 mph at an altitude of 800 feet.

The Delta Air Lines plane continued to Minneapolis while the T-38s returned to Langley Air Force Base in Hampton, Virginia.

The flight had 131 passengers, two pilots, and three flight attendants on board at the time, a Delta spokesperson said.

Delta Air Lines confirmed the incident and said its crew responded appropriately.

“Nothing is more important than the safety of our customers and people. That’s why the flight crew followed procedures to maneuver the aircraft as instructed,” Delta spokesperson Morgan Durrant stated.

The FAA said it is investigating the incident.

This near mid-flight crash comes in the wake of the mid-air collision on Jan. 29 between an Army Black Hawk helicopter and an American Airlines plane just south of Reagan National that killed 67 people — the deadliest U.S. aviation disaster since 2001.

A recent National Transportation Safety Board preliminary report revealed there were 15,240 “close proximity events” between commercial planes and helicopters near Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport between October 2021 and December 2024.

A husband was with his pregnant wife at their Houston residence around 11 p.m. Friday when they both heard beeping and their alarm sounding, KHOU-TV reported.

Police said the 50-year-old homeowner grabbed his handgun and checked things out, the station said.

‘Just defending what [is] his. The [burglar] should be thankful he wasn’t killed. Next time he may not be so lucky.’

When the homeowner got to the garage, he noticed the door had been opened — and then he saw a male inside his wife’s car in the driveway, KHOU said, adding that their home is on Kelving Street near the intersection of Kirby Drive and West Holcombe Boulevard. The station, citing police, said the male broke into the home’s garage and the wife’s car.

The male then got out of the car and began moving down the driveway, KHOU said.

Police said the homeowner ordered the male to stop, the station reported — but it was dark outside, the male made a quick movement, and that prompted the homeowner to open fire twice, KHOU said. The shots hit the male once in the arm and once in the leg, the station said.

The homeowner yelled for his wife to call 911 and get help as he stayed with the male, the station said.

The Houston Fire Department quickly arrived and brought the male to an area hospital where he was expected to survive, KHOU said.

The station said the male is expected to face burglary charges.

The Harris County District Attorney’s Office will investigate to determine if any charges will be filed against the homeowner, KHOU noted.

A 61-year-old Tesla driver told KTVK-TV a male motorist recently cut her off, boxed her in, then exited his car and repeatedly punched her on a busy road in Flagstaff, Arizona.

The woman, who wants to remain anonymous and went by the alias “Susan,” explained to the station that she was on Route 66 when another vehicle started chasing her.

‘I didn’t buy my car for a political statement. I bought my car because its really fun to drive. My politics have nothing to do with that. I’m ashamed of our society and what they are doing.’

KTVK said Susan has video of the incident, and it shows a motorist in a green car pulling up next to her and then swerving in front of her and boxing her in.

Susan told the station that the motorist then exited his car, walked over to her as she was behind the wheel of her Tesla, and then began punching her.

“I started to say, ‘You cut me off, what’s your problem,’ but I didn’t know how much he heard me,” Susan recounted to KTVK. “He got out and started to punch me with a closed fist.”

Susan told the station she soon bit her attacker’s hand; indeed, video shows the male at one point pulling his hand away from the Tesla and shaking it. Moments later, video shows the male motorist’s passenger exiting the green car and pulling the attacker away, after which the pair drive off.

“I’m just appalled,” Susan told KTVK. “I didn’t buy my car for a political statement. I bought my car because its really fun to drive. My politics have nothing to do with that. I’m ashamed of our society and what they are doing.”

Flagstaff police cited the suspect, who was due in court Monday, the station said.

What did police do?

The statement from police said officers responded to reports of “a road rage incident that escalated into a violent encounter” around 12:30 p.m. March 19, KSAZ-TV reported, adding that investigators said the incident involved a Tesla and a Chevrolet Cavalier.

“The driver of the Cavalier, later identified as Robert Artherton, 33, of Flagstaff, drove in front of the Tesla, causing both vehicles to stop in the roadway,” the statement said in part, KSAZ reported, adding that Artherton exited his vehicle and approached the driver’s side of the Tesla, after which a confrontation ensued.

KSAZ said both parties gave conflicting accounts regarding what took place, and police said they both suffered minor injuries.

“All parties involved allege that the incident was triggered by driving behaviors, honking, and disorderly hand gestures,” officials said in the statement, KSAZ noted.

“Mr. Artherton was arrested via a criminal citation for disorderly conduct, assault, and aggressive driving in lieu of detention due to seeking medical attention for an injury to his hand,” the statement said in part, according to KSAZ.

A second victim

KTVK reported that another female Tesla owner said she recently departed a Flagstaff grocery store and found a note on her car that read, “She’s a Nazi and a loser.”

A few weeks later, she received a threatening text calling her a “Racist POS,” the station said.

“It’s wrong, and it’s deplorable,” the victim told KTVK. “I think they are just hating people and not really hurting a company or Tesla.”

KTVK said both Tesla owners also signed up for a gun safety course at Timberline Firearms, which is north of Flagstaff.

“They were targeted because they drove a Tesla, and as a result felt quite vulnerable,” shop owner Rob Wilson told KTVK. “They were surprised someone would do something like that and realized if they were doing it, and targeting them because of car they drive, they needed to take additional measures to protect themselves.”

During a Sunday evening town hall in Wisconsin, Elon Musk revealed that more than 4.8 million noncitizens have been given Social Security numbers since fiscal year 2021.

Musk explained that Antonio Gracias, the founder and CEO of Valor Equity Partners, has been assisting the federal government with reducing waste and fraud within the Social Security Administration. He noted that the Department of Government Efficiency previously found 20 million deceased individuals marked alive in the agency’s database.

‘It was a massive large-scale program to import as many illegals as possible, ultimately to change the entire voting map of the United States and disenfranchise the American people and make it a permanent, deep-blue one-party state from which there would be no escape.’

Gracias joined Musk on stage to share a shocking chart showing a breakdown of the number of noncitizens who received SSNs under the Biden administration: 270,425 in fiscal year 2021; 590,193 in 2022; 964,163 in 2023; 2,095,247 in 2024; and 900,649 in 2025 so far.

“When we saw these numbers, we were like, ‘What is this?’” Gracias stated. “This literally blew us away.”

Musk called the chart “mind-blowing.”

“We went there to find fraud, and we found this by accident,” Gracias remarked. “This is not political. This is about America and the future of America.”

He explained how the Biden administration made it possible for millions of noncitizens to obtain SSNs.

“When you come in the country, if you’re illegal, there’s a couple ways to come in. You can come in through a port of entry, and you can tell them [Border Patrol agents] that you’re afraid, and they’ll give you an asylum case,” Gracias continued. “Another way to do it is to just go to the border. … You walk up to a Border Patrol officer, and you tell them you want to come in. They have a couple of choices: They could charge you with a misdemeanor or felony under 1325, or they can make it an administrative offense, like a parking ticket basically.”

Gracias stated that under Biden, officers at the border were instructed to issue administrative offenses, which allowed foreign nationals to pour into the country and stay while they await years-out court dates to review their immigration status. During that waiting period, some could apply for work authorization, which would prompt the SSA to send SSNs through the mail.

“No interview. No ID,” he said.

Musk added, “People sometimes think that under the Biden administration, he [former President Joe Biden] was simply asleep at the switch. They weren’t asleep as the switch. It was a massive large-scale program to import as many illegals as possible, ultimately to change the entire voting map of the United States and disenfranchise the American people and make it a permanent, deep-blue one-party state from which there would be no escape.”

Gracias supported Musk’s claims.

“If I hadn’t seen this myself, I’m not sure I would have believed it,” he said. “Elon is right. This is true. The defaults in the system, from Social Security to all of the benefit programs, have been set to max inclusion, max pay for these people — and minimum collection.”

Gracias stated that 1.3 million of the noncitizens who had received SSNs were also receiving Medicaid.

“What was really, really disturbing us was why,” he continued. “And so we actually just took a sample and looked at voter registration records, and we found people here registered to vote.”

“And who did vote,” Musk remarked.

Gracias stated that those individuals have been referred for prosecution.

An illegal alien with multiple convictions apparently managed to escape an ICE detention facility in Washington state last week — but he wasn’t gone long.

On Wednesday night, Alvaro Flores-Barboza, a 24-year-old Venezuelan national with alleged ties to Tren de Aragua, reportedly managed to escape the Northwest ICE Processing Center in Tacoma. Officials have not clarified how he managed to evade detection and scale fences topped with barbed wire, though KOMO reported that a “severe” storm blew through the area that day.

The cop … was temporarily hamstrung by an Oregon law forcing officers to ‘take no action’ on ICE warrants without a judge’s signature.

By 3 a.m. Saturday, a deputy spotted Flores-Barboza outside a bar in Aloha, Oregon, some 150 miles or so south of Tacoma. The cop soon realized that Flores-Barboza was wanted by ICE, but he was temporarily hamstrung by an Oregon law forcing officers to “take no action” on ICE warrants without a judge’s signature.

The officer then scrambled to determine whether the suspect’s warrant had been signed. Once he realized that it was, he went looking for Flores-Barboza in the area. He found the suspect walking about at around 5:30 a.m. and arrested him without further incident.

Flores-Barboza is once again “facing removal” from the United States, ICE Seattle posted to social media on Saturday.

The GEO Group, the private company that owns the Northwest ICE Processing Center, issued a statement about the incident:

The safety and security of the Northwest ICE Processing Center and our neighbors in the local community is our top priority. We are working urgently to ensure that all necessary corrective actions are implemented to prevent such instances from reoccurring.

In the last year alone, Flores-Barboza has had a string of encounters with law enforcement that have nothing to do with the fact that he apparently stole into the U.S. illegally at some point. Last May, he was arrested on five separate charges, including a misdemeanor assault to which he admitted, KOIN reported.

Two months later, Flores-Barboza was arrested again, this time for five different charges. He was convicted of two of them: misdemeanor reckless driving and felony use of a weapon.

Those two separate cases were both resolved in December. For the May charges, Flores-Barboza was sentenced to two years of supervised probation and given a $100 fine. For the July charges, he was sentenced to time served, though his driver’s license was suspended and he was ordered not to have any contact with his victims, KOIN said.

“He was also ordered to obey all laws,” the outlet added.

Flores-Barboza apparently ignored that directive, because on March 10, he was arrested once again. This time, he was accused of felony driving on a suspended license and giving a police officer false information. He was then booked into Washington County Jail.

The following day, he was released from custody due to a lack of bed space and ordered to appear in court on March 20. According to KPTV, Flores-Barboza actually showed up for that court appearance, perhaps because he had just been taken into ICE custody in Portland. However, officials were still trying to find him an attorney and he was not given another court date.

It is unclear how he ended up at the Tacoma detention facility between March 20 and his apparent escape on March 26.

Wouldn’t you know it? It was bound to happen.

You’re chatting with a friend about this, that, and the other thing — carefully steering clear of politics, just like always.

You both know you don’t see eye to eye when it comes to today’s contentious political landscape, so you do your best to keep things light. But then, out of nowhere, the forbidden topic appears. It sneaks into the conversation, innocently enough — until suddenly, it’s front and center.

I knew my friend Jeffrey didn’t like Trump, so I always tried to avoid politics when we talked. But somehow, I found myself on the phone with him getting a lecture on “how bad Trump is for democracy.”

What happened?

All I did was mention a film I thought we both appreciate: “Bonhoeffer: Pastor. Spy. Assassin.”

With people in general justifying the absolute obvious craziness of the far left by being silent and looking the other way, we can announce a brand-new term: ‘political immaturity.’

I genuinely believed it was a safe topic. We’re both Christians, both admirers of Dietrich Bonhoeffer and his courageous stand against Hitler and the Nazis. We also share respect for Eric Metaxas, whose book on Bonhoeffer many consider
the definitive biography and which inspired the film adaptation.

Plus, Jeffrey knows I was Metaxas’ radio producer for many years. So really, I thought we were on solid, non-controversial ground.

But Jeffrey immediately jumped in to point out that Bonhoeffer’s descendants don’t support Eric Metaxas — because Metaxas supports Trump. That, in his view, proved just how awful Trump is and, dare I say it, how Hitler-like. From there, it was only a short leap to his inevitable conclusion:
Trump is bad for democracy.

I calmly responded that descendants of historical figures, while entitled to their opinions, are just as influenced by the culture of their time as anyone else. Then I added what I considered the most glaring problem with his argument: the United States isn’t a democracy — we’re a constitutional republic.

I suggested that, in many ways, democracy can be a lousy form of government. After all, it allows 51% of the people to impose their will on the other 49%, forcing them to live under rules they didn’t choose and might not benefit from. In my quick tutorial on democracy versus the American system, I didn’t even get into the brilliance of the
framers’ creation of the Electoral College — a safeguard that gives individual states real power and influence.

To my surprise, Jeffrey actually agreed with me on that point. But then he pivoted, arguing that Trump was just doing whatever he wanted — like sending back all the “asylum-seekers” who crossed the border during Joe Biden’s presidency.

I asked him how he knew all 15 million migrants (give or take) were
asylum-seekers. Who vetted them? And I reminded him that Trump had nearly been blocked from deporting even the worst of the worst — violent criminals — by an unelected judge from … well, somewhere.

Then I said, “It’s hard to imagine the words ‘Christian’ and ‘Democrat’ even appearing in the same sentence these days.”

That didn’t go over well.

I listed just a few of the issues Democrats continue to support. I left out the wide-open borders — which my friend seemed fine with, even after I brought up the rise in sex trafficking, fentanyl deaths, and inner-city crime — and focused on other examples. I mentioned sex-change procedures for children, drag queen story hours in public libraries, and men competing in women’s sports.

That’s when Jeffrey cut me off.

“Of course I don’t agree with those things,” he said.

And then came the words every far-left friend says when he’s on the brink of losing an argument to inconvenient facts: “Let’s just agree to disagree.”

End of discussion.

Since Jeffrey is a friend, I let the conversation fizzle out. We exchanged a few more pleasantries and then said our goodbyes.

But not long after I hung up, I realized how disingenuous “agree to disagree” can be in a discussion or debate. That phrase shuts down dialogue. It signals that neither side will reconsider his position and, worse, that neither side is allowed to keep making his case or challenging the other’s facts.

What struck me even more was how casually Jeffrey used the phrase — not just with me, but seemingly with his own party. It was as if he could personally find things like child gender surgeries or men in women’s locker rooms repugnant — especially as a Christian — but still wave it all off because Democrats “stand up for the little guy.”

To avoid making waves, many Christians stepped onto the slippery slope of so-called “political correctness” years ago. The idea was simple: Being on the “right side” of politics meant standing up for marginalized people. And what Christian wouldn’t want to be seen doing that? After all, didn’t the Bible and the saints speak out for the disadvantaged?

But over time, political correctness evolved. Or rather, it escalated. “PC” gave way to “woke,” and suddenly we were all expected to embrace a new worldview — one in which anyone with a shred of sanity and compassion would naturally join the swelling ranks of the awakened. Christians, of course, were included in that expectation — if they knew what was good for them and wanted to belong to the era’s grand new “Awokening.”

So what’s next?

With people in general justifying the absolute
obvious craziness of the far left by being silent and looking the other way, we can announce a brand-new term: “political immaturity.”

When you ignore common sense to do whatever you are told is “correct” and “woke,” you have not matured into rationally thinking for yourself. You might start with a wish to “go along to get along,” and now you are being led around and told what to think and do like somebody’s child.

The only hope for America over these next few critical years is a true Great Awakening to the truth within the church that can lead to a
foundational restoration within this great country.

Optimistically speaking, if we take this route, future generations might look back and say with joy: “Wouldn’t you know it? It was bound to happen!”
